Getting the size right is what makes a compression garment work. One size too
big does not compress; one size too small does not get worn for the hours it
needs to be worn. Take five minutes and measure before you order.
What you need
A flexible measuring tape and, if you can, someone to help. Measure against
your skin or over very thin clothing, with the tape snug but not pulling.
The three measurements
-
Waist. At the narrowest part of your torso, usually at or
just above the navel.
-
Low hip. At the fullest part of your hips and seat, with
your feet together.
-
High hip. Around 3 to 4 inches below your waist, over the
hip bone.
Which measurement decides
-
Fajas and bodysuits: waist and low hip. If they fall in
different sizes, go by your hips.
-
Waist trainers and vests: waist and high hip. If they fall
in different sizes, go by your waist.
-
Recovery bras and the face faja: follow the chart on that
product.
Four things that prevent a bad order
- Do not go by your usual clothing size. Faja sizing is not jeans sizing.
- Use today's measurements. Your body changes during recovery, and measuring
beats guessing.
- Check the chart on each product. Styles do not share a chart.
- Between two sizes, size up. Every time.
If you have measured and you are still unsure, message us before you order.
It is faster than dealing with it afterwards.
